I'm Zaria—a creative intern and freelancer based between Norfolk, VA, and Washington, D.C. My journey into the creative world began a year ago, and since then, I've immersed myself in photography, consulting, and directing.
Before discovering my passion for photography, I was navigating life as a regular student. Now, I'm building a foundation to become an icon in the creative industry. Over the past year, I've had the privilege of creating impactful work, forming and leading an intern team, consulting on projects, and directing visual storytelling that connects and inspires.
I'm just getting started, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me…

Outside of my role as a creative intern, I’m a passionate student and freelance artist specializing in photography and graphic design. My creative work is fueled by a commitment to capturing impactful moments and crafting designs that resonate with audiences. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with brands and organizations such as Rampant, SportsPlug757, The Sporting News 757, Maryland High School Sports, Middle Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), Bowie State University and Old Dominion University’s athletic programs, including ODU Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Football, and ODU Sports. These collaborations have allowed me to connect with diverse audiences and refine my ability to create dynamic, engaging content.
I’m also expanding my expertise by diving into videography, exploring storytelling through motion, and perfecting my portrait photography to celebrate individuality and emotion. Balancing my freelance projects and academic responsibilities requires focus and adaptability, but both fuel my growth as a creative professional.
As I work toward my graduation in May 2025, this phase of my journey is about more than skill development—it’s about building relationships, embracing challenges, and preparing to make a lasting impact in the creative industry. I’m excited for what lies ahead and the opportunity to keep pushing creative boundaries.
